EIF-day at the EU?

Just found this:
“The European Commission, Directorate General for Informatics (IDABC), is organising a special event aiming to present and inform on the new version of the European Interoperability Framework. This EIF Info Day is to take place on 25 June 2008 in Brussels.”

Great news on my ODF / OOXML assignment

Open standards on Deadline

On thursday the 26. th of april, there was a discussion on the danish TV program Deadline. Steffen Ørnemark (IT-office manager in region Midtjylland) was interviewed. He is in favor of open standards and the use of none Microsoft products. Yet another exciting part of the open standards ‘war’ i Denmark/Europe.

Interoperability – ifølge hvidbog
